Xiaomi Black Shark 4 With 6.67-inch Display, 4500mAh Battery Visits TENAA

Xiaomi’s gaming-focused smartphone brand, Black Shark is preparing for the Black Shark 3 successor, the Black Shark 4. The handset is due for launch this year, and has started appearing on a few of the certification authorities. Yesterday, the Black Shark 4 was spotted on Google Play Console, which even revealed few of the key specifications. Now, the device has cleared the TENAA certification in china, which suggested to us that the launch could happen anytime soon in the upcoming days.

As for the time being, the TENAA certification only reveals key specifications of the Black Shark 4, and no images. The device carries model number as SHARK KSR-A0, which is similar to the one which appeared on Google Play Console. If we go by the TENAA certification, the Black Shark 4 will feature a 6.67-inch display. The smartphone is supposed to have a Full HD+ resolution screen with aspect ratio set as 20:9. Dimensions-wise, the device will measure at 163.83×76.35×10.3mm. The certification even reveals the battery capacity of the device which will be of 4500mAh. The smartphone is expected to have a 120W fast charging support.

As far as the software on the Black Shark 4 go, it will run on the Android 11 operating system. Few days ago, the Black Shark 4 also had appeared on AnTuTu benchmark which managed to score 788,505 points. These scores are more than that of the Xiaomi’s Mi 11 and Oppo Find X3. Under the hood, the Black Shark 4 is rumoured to pack in a Snapdragon 888 chipset which does come with an integrated 5G modem. The Google Play Console listing has already confirmed 8GB of RAM for this upcoming device. We can expect the device to offer 128/256GB internal storage.

As the days pass, we might get to know more about the Black Shark 4, as Black Shark CEO has already started sharing few aspect of the device recently. For now, the launch date of this upcoming device remains a mystery. However, now that TENAA certification been availed to the smartphone, the launch can be expected in the upcoming few days or week.
