Motorola Edge 50 Pro Review: Should You Buy in 10 Points

Robin John

Motorola offers unique colours for their phones. The Edge 40 Neo had vibrant shades, and the Edge 50 Pro continues this trend. The Lavender Luxe version, with its vegan leather, looks and feels premium while providing a great one-handed grip.

Design

The display is crisp, vivid, and extremely fast. Motorola remains one of the few brands that still offers a 144Hz refresh rate for its display.

Display

The Moto Edge 50 Pro handles multitasking smoothly. It can run BGMI at “Ultra HDR” and “Ultra” framerates, reaching up to 40fps. For 60fps, switch the graphics to “HDR” and the framerates to “Extreme.”

Performance

The Edge 50 Pro is the first phone with HelloUI based on Android 14. It’s a more aesthetically pleasing and minimalistic version of MyUX.

UI

Images captured in daylight were crisp, with good control over the dynamic range. The photos had great detail, but the colours were not as natural as advertised.

Camera

The phone offers about six hours of screen time, lasting a full day with ease. In the PCMark 10 battery test, the Edge 50 Pro lasted 9 hours and 33 minutes.

Battery

The Moto Edge 50 Pro does many things right for its starting price. The phone is perfect for people who want a clean UI experience, a vibrant and sleek design, and a reliable performer.
