Garmin, the leading health-tracking wearables brand, has launched its latest entry-level smartwatch in India. The newest launch is dubbed the Garmin Forerunner 165 series and arrives as the follow-up to the Garmin Forerunner 55 series, which launched back in 2021. The smartwatch brings several upgrades over the Forerunner 55 like an AMOLED display, updated design, powerful battery, and more.

Garmin Forerunner 165 Series: Price, Availability

The Forerunner 165 is already available at select premium brand stores across the country. Interested buyers can purchase the device at Rs 33,490. Garmin is offering a two-year warranty on the purchase of the latest launch.

Garmin has launched the Forerunner 165 Series in four colours in India, including Turquoise/Aqua, Black/Slate grey, Mist grey/Whitestone, and Berry/Lilac.

Garmin Forerunner 165 Series: Features, Specifications

The Garmin Forerunner 165 Series is the latest entry-level GPS smartwatch from the brand and comes with an AMOLED display and a powerful battery. Garmin claims the device offers 11 days of backup in smartwatch mode and up to 19 hours in GPS mode.

As for the design, the Garmin Forerunner 165 series features a 43mm case with dual shot bands. The smartwatch is equipped with a 1.2-inch AMOLED panel with touchscreen support. The device is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and connects through the Garmin Connect App.

The new Garmin Forerunner 165 series is designed for runners and comes with features like adaptive training plans, cadence tracking, stride length, and ground contact time, among others. The new watch also offers the standard set of health and fitness tracking features like a heart rate monitor, steps counter, sleep tracker, SpO2, stress monitor, and more.

The watch features Pulse OX, which can track blood oxygen while awake or asleep. There is also a Morning Report feature, which provides the summary of last night’s sleep, the day’s training overview, Heart Rate Variability, and weather. Other features include Nap Detection, 25 activity profiles, VO2 Max, Body Battery energy monitoring, and more.
