Sony BRAVIA 2 Series TV: Features

The new Sony BRAVIA 2 Series TV models are available in four screen sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All variants feature a 4K LED screen along with an X1 Picture Processor. The processor intelligently adjusts noise in the video feed and boosts detail levels. It also helps to upscale Full HD and 2K content to full 4K resolution using 4K X-Reality Pro algorithms.

The TVs also support Live Color Technology, which Sony indigenously developed. It helps reproduce the best picture quality at 4K resolution. Other features in the TV include Motionflow XR, which inserts additional frames in a video feed between the original ones for a smoother viewing experience.

The Sony BRAVIA 2 Series TV models have Google TV for smart connectivity. It supports thousands of TV apps, including OTT apps and games. The TV also supports voice commands through the Google Assistant. iPhone users can also mirror their screen on the TV using Apple AirPlay and Apple Home Kit.

The new Sony TVs have 20W stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Audio. The TV can adjust the audio based on the type of content being played to maintain consistent sound output when the scene changes.

The Sony BRAVIA 2 Series also has a low-latency mode, which is enabled automatically when the TV detects it is connected to a console. It also supports Auto HDR Tone Mapping, which adjusts the screen’s contrast in specific game scenarios. The mode is designed to reduce input lag and provide the best gaming experience.

Sony’s new TVs come with X-Protection PRO, which protects them from humidity, dust, and other surrounding elements. They are also resistant to voltage spikes and power surges. Sony is offering a one-year warranty on its new BRAVIA 2 Series TVs.
