Following Jio and Airtel, Vi—India’s third-largest telecom operator—has hiked the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans. The company has increased the cost of its entry-level prepaid plan from Rs 179 to Rs 199. Rates have also been hiked for all other monthly and annual plans. The new tariffs will come into effect on July 4, 2024.
Vi Revised Plans After Price Hike
Vi has increased the rates of its plans by up to 20%. After the recent hikes, the revised plans are on par with Airtel and Jio’s latest rates. Here’s a detailed list of the new Vi Plans.

Vi’s new prepaid plans are closer to Airtel’s new pricing and slightly higher than Jio’s. The telco is currently preparing to launch nationwide 5G services. The revised rates will help Vi sustain itself for the 5G rollout and further network improvement.
