Best plans in Airtel, Jio, and Vi for secondary number
If your secondary SIM is Airtel or Vi, the Rs 1,999 prepaid plan is the best fit. It is the cheapest plan to keep your SIM active for 365 days, compared to doing similar recharges on monthly or quarterly plans.
For Jio, the difference between the 84-day and annual plans is minimal. For the best value, you should choose the Rs 1,899 plan. Otherwise, the Rs 479 plan is also a good fit.
All three operators also offer add-on packs, which provide additional data over the base plan benefits, mentioned in this guide. Airtel provides 4GB of data for Rs 77 and Jio offers 6GB of data for Rs 69. Both add-ons will carry the same validity as your base plan. Vi’s data add-ons are limited to 3 days only, hence they are not recommended.
