Apple has announced the Back to School sale for students and educators in India. As part of the sale, iPad buyers will get an Apple Pencil for free. Those buying a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac Mini can avail of an Apple AirPods as a freebie. Here’s a look at the deals.
Apple Back to School Offer on Macs
People buying the M3 MacBook Air (starting at Rs 1,04,900), M3 MacBook Pro (starting at Rs 1,58,900), Mac mini (starting at Rs 49,900), and M3 iMac (starting at Rs 1,29,900) can get an Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) with Lightning Charging for free. Buyers also have the option to upgrade to AirPods (3rd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case, AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case, or Apple AirPods Max by paying Rs 1,000, Rs 5,000, and Rs 40,000, respectively.
Apple Back to School Offer on iPads
Apple is offering an Apple Pencil for free with all iPad Air M2 (starting at Rs 54,900) and iPad Pro M4 (starting at Rs 89,900). Buyers will get an option to choose between Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil Pro. Readers must note that the iPad (10th Gen) and iPad Mini (6th Gen) aren’t eligible for this offer.
Apple is also offering a 20% discount on Apple Care+ plans if bought alongside the device. For those unaware, Apple offers products across several categories at a discounted price via its Education store. Apple Back to School offers are available for university students, parents buying devices for their kids, and teachers and staff members at any education level.
Apple Back to School: Eligibility
Apple Back to School sale is already live on the Apple Education Store, Apple BKC Store, and Apple Saket Store. These offers can be availed until September 30.
Those purchasing a device online through the Apple Education Store must verify their eligibility via UNiDAYs. For those making an in-store purchase, a student ID, acceptance letter, or other proof of eligibility might be required for availing of the offer.
