Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi Mix Flip smartphone soon in the Chinese market. Today, we have spotted the possible Xiaomi Mix Flip clamshell foldable smartphone in the IMDA certification, confirming its global debut.
Xiaomi Mix Flip IMDA Certification
The upcoming Xiaomi clamshell smartphone has received IMDA certification with the 2405CPX3DG model number. The IMDA certification reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with support for Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, and NFC in global markets. Apart from the model number, the certification doesn’t reveal the moniker or the specifications of the device.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip moniker of the smartphone was previously confirmed through the IMEI certification spotted by Erencan Yilmaz on X (formerly Twitter). Our team at MySmartPrice previously spotted the satellite connectivity edition of the smartphone in China’s MIIT certification. The smartphone was also certified by the CCC (China Compulsory Certificate), confirming the 67W fast charging support.
Digitial Chat Station, a well-known tipster, previously revealed that Xiaomi will launch the smartphones in Q3 of 2024 in China. The tipster adds that the Mix Flip will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Xiaomi is tipped to equip the smartphone with a rectangular camera module and a large cover display.
The inner screen of the device is said to sport a 1.5K resolution and a folding mechanism similar to the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The rectangular camera module will house two cameras, which are said to be a 50MP OmniVision OV50E primary camera with OIS and a 60MP OmniVision OV60A telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
