Indian market witnessed the launch of several highly anticipated smartphones such as Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 CIVI, Realme GT 6, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, and more in June. There were a few global launches too like that of the Motorola Razr 50 series, OPPO Reno 12 series, and Vivo V40. Here’s a look at the top smartphones launched in June 2024.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro debuted as the slimmest and lightest book-style foldable in India. The X Fold 3 Pro has a carbon fibre ultra-durable hinge, which weighs under 15 grams and comes with TUV Rheinland certification. The foldable weighs 236 grams and is just 5.2mm thick when unfolded.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with a V3-imaging chip and features ZEISS-tuned cameras. It has a 50MP wide camera with 23mm focal length and OIS, a 64MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It has a 32MP front camera on the cover display and a 32MP camera on the folding display. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 5,700mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It features a 3D ultrasonic dual-screen fingerprint and is IPX8-rated.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra

Motorola launched its top-of-the-line handset – the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra smartphone in the Indian market. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the Edge 50 Ultra offers a 144Hz pOLED display with 2500nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone comes in Forest Grey, Peach Fuzz, and Nordic Wood colour options.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra packs a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It has a 50MP selfie camera at the front. The smartphone is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and 125W fast charging support. It offers several AI features such as Magic Canvas, Action Shot, AI Adaptive Stabilisation, Photo Enhancement Pro, etc.

Xiaomi 14 CIVI

The Xiaomi 14 CIVI is touted as one of the best camera smartphones in the segment. It offers a triple-rear camera setup, tuned by German camera manufacturer – LEICA. The smartphone has a 50MP Summilux Light Hunter 800 lens, a 50MP portrait telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

After the Realme GT 6T, Realme has brought the Realme GT 6 to India and other global markets. Touted as a flagship killer, the Realme GT 6 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. It flaunts a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with 6000nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

OnePlus launched its affordable OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G smartphone in India and other global markets. The Nord CE 4 Lite offers a 120Hz AMOLED display with 2100 nits peak brightness and Aqua touch technology, one of the biggest upgrades compared to its predecessor. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.

OPPO launched the OPPO F27 Pro+ smartphone in the Indian market. The OPPO F27 Pro+ features an IP69 rating and an MIL-STD 810H certification. It is SGS premium performance 5-star rated against drops. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and up to 8GB of RAM.

Motorola unveiled the Razr 50 and the Razr 50 Ultra in the European markets. The Motorola Razr 50 offers a 3.63-inch cover pOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It has a 6.9-inch LTPO pOLD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000nits peak brightness. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is launching on July 4 in India.

HONOR 200 Series

The HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processors, respectively. The HONOR 200 series smartphones feature a triple-rear camera setup which includes a 50MP primary camera, a 20MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

The HONRO 200 and HONOR 200 Pro are equipped with a 5,200mAh battery and 100W SuperCharge fast charging support. The HONRO 200 Pro also supports 66W wireless charging. HONOR will soon debut the HONOR 200 series in India but it has yet to reveal the launch date.

OPPO Reno 12 Series

OPPO launched the OPPO Reno 12 and the OPPO Reno 12 Pro last month in the European countries. The OPPO Reno 12 series smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. These are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

The OPPO Reno 12 series smartphones feature a 3D flexible AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200nits brightness. The Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro come with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, respectively. The Reno 12 has a 32MP front shooter. Whereas, the Reno 12 Pro features a 50MP front camera.

Vivo V40 5G Launched

Vivo refreshed its V-series lineup with the Vivo 40 5G smartphone. The Vivo V40 features a ZEISS-tuned camera setup, which includes a 50MP wide camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It has a 50MP autofocus camera at the front.
