Samsung Galaxy A06 with MediaTek Helio SoC Spotted on Geekbench

Samsung is expected to unveil the entry-level Samsung Galaxy A06 in the coming months. In a new development, our team at MySmartPrice has spotted the Samsung Galaxy A06 on the Geekbench benchmark database. The benchmark listing reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming handset.

Samsung Galaxy A06 Geekbench Listing

The Samsung Galaxy A06’s model number is SM-A065F. It scored 1,644 and 5,326 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively, of the Geekbench 4.2 benchmark test. The listing suggests that it will feature 6GB of RAM and will come with Android 14.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 will sport an octa-core MediaTek processor with model number MT6769V/CZ, 1.80GHz peak frequency, and Mali G52 GPU. This could be the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 has also appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification. It reveals the model numbers SM-A065F/DS, SM-A065M/DS, and SM-A065M. As per that, the upcoming A-series smartphone will offer support for dual-band WiFi 5 802.11a/b/g/n/ac connectivity. Apart from that, the listing doesn’t reveal anything about the Galaxy A06.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 will succeed last year’s Galaxy A05. To recall, the Galaxy A05 flaunts a 6.7-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. The handset sports a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. It offers a dual-rear camera setup which includes a 50MP primary camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A05 is equipped with an 8MP front shooter. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and weighs 195 grams.
