Following the success of the Redmi 12 5G, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the Redmi 13 5G on July 9 in the Indian market. Xiaomi, in about 10 months, sold over 4 million units of Redmi 12 5G in India.
The upcoming Redmi 13 5G will be sold exclusively via Amazon as its micro-site has gone live. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Redmi 13 5G. Here’s a look at the details.
Redmi 13 5G: Confirmed Details
It is revealed the Redmi 13 5G will feature a crystal glass design with a glass rear panel. The display panel has a centred punch hole notch and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Xiaomi claims that Redmi 13 5G will offer the biggest display on a 5G smartphone.
The Redmi 13 5G is confirmed to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, similar to its predecessor. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 comes with an integrated Adreno 613 GPU.
The smartphone is confirmed to sport a dual-rear camera setup, including a 108MP primary camera. It is revealed that the upcoming Redmi phone has a 5,030mAh battery and will feature 33W fast charging support.
The Redmi 13 5G will boot HyperOS out of the box possibly based on Android 14. In terms of the specs, the Redmi 13 5G appears to be very similar to the Redmi Note 13R 5G (launched in China). The smartphone will be a budget offering, possibly falling under Rs 15,000.
