OPPO is gearing up for the upcoming A-series smartphones in global markets. Today, we have spotted the upcoming OPPO A3x in the NBTC and TUV Rheinland certification and Geekbench databases ahead of its launch.
OPPO A3x NBTC Certification
Thailand’s NBTC certification confirms that OPPO will soon launch a smartphone with the CPH2641 model number in global markets. The certification also reveals that OPPO will debut the device with the OPPO A3x moniker.
It is also revealed that the OPPO device will support GSM, WCDMA, and LTE connectivity. We have also spotted the device on the TUV Rheinland certification site. The listing confirms that the upcoming smartphone will be backed by a 4,970mAh battery.
The device could have a 5,000mAh typical value battery and 45W SuperVOOC fast charging tech. The Geekbench database reveals that A3x scored 344 points in single-core and 1,181 points in multi-core tests. The device will be powered by an octa-core SoC with a base clock speed of 2.02GHz, ‘bengal’ motherboard, and an Adreno 610 GPU.
The identifiers in the database confirm that OPPO will equip the device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 14 based on Color OS 14.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC sports four Kryo 265 Gold (Cortex A73) cores at 2.4GHz and four Kryo 265 Silver (Cortex A55) cores at 1.9GHz. As per the Geekbench listing, the device has four cores at 2.02GHz and another four at 2.11GHz, indicating that OPPO will use a slightly overclocked variant of the SoC.
The device has also been spotted on the FCC certification, which confirms the 4GB+128GB configuration. OPPO will also equip the smartphone with an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera. OPPO is also working on the 5G variant, recently certified by TENAA alongside the OPPO A3m 5G.
