OnePlus has officially teased its next Nord series smartphone launch in India. The company launched the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G as its first Nord smartphone of 2023 in India. Up next, OnePlus is likely to launch the Nord 3 in India. The company has confirmed that its next Nord smartphone will launch in India in July. OnePlus did not explicitly mention the name of the device. However, the teaser post in the community forum hints at the launch of the Nord 3 in India, Europe and the APAC regions.
There have been reports of OnePlus launching the Nord 3 in India in July. Based on the latest details, the Nord 3 is launching very soon in India. OnePlus teased the launch of the Nord 3 under its “The Lab” campaign, which gives “tech enthusiasts with a deep understanding and passion for Tech gadgets” the to experience the upcoming device and share their reviews of the device.
OnePlus revealed the campaign’s timeline, which shows that the reviews will go live in July. The company did not announce the exact launch date of the Nord 3 in India. However, we can expect the device to debut soon in India.
The OnePlus Nord 3 will likely launch in India as a rebadged version of another OnePlus smartphone in China. As per reports, the device will launch globally as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V. OnePlus is likely to launch the Nord 3 with two storage options. The base model will offer 128GB of storage, whereas the top-tier storage option will feature 256GB of memory. Both variants will feature 8GB and 16GB of RAM in Europe, according to a leak. The base model of the device with 8GB + 128GB storage is tipped to be priced at EUR 449 (roughly Rs 39,900), whereas the 16GB + 256GB storage option could be priced at EUR 549 (approximately Rs 48,800). In India, the price of the base model is expected to be under Rs 35,000, whereas the 256GB variant could be launched for under Rs 40,000.
The Ace 2V is one of OnePlus’ premium smartphones in China. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 5000mAh battery.
