June was a busy month for smartphone, laptop, smart TV, and accessory launches in India. Brands like Infinix, OnePlus, Motorola, and more introduced their latest offerings in the country. There were also exciting devices that made their way to the shelves like the first IP69-rated smartphone, OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G, and the latest Nord series device, OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G.

As usual, the MSP Tech Insights list of popular smartphones was dominated by OPPO, vivo, OnePlus, and Motorola. The biggest surprise in the month of June 2024 was the entry of the OnePlus 11R. The 2023 launch replaced the OnePlus 12R, which has been constant since February 2024. So without further ado, let’s look at the most popular smartphones in India in June 2024.

The top two spots have been taken by devices that were sitting at the second and third spots from MSP Tech Insights May 2024. Do note that the ranking in this list is based on their search volume on MySmartPrice and doesn’t reflect their sale volume in India.

1. OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G was the most popular smartphone in April 2024 and in May, it slipped to second spot. And in June, the smartphone climbed back on top to claim the number one spot. The frequent updates received by the handset with new features like new animations, camera improvements, and touch control experiences have a role to play in its popularity.

The key highlights of the latest mid-range device from OnePlus include Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size, and a 5500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Thanks to the class-leading specifications and a competitive price tag, the Nord CE 4 5G continues to be a fan favourite in India.

2. Moto G64

The Moto G64 also followed in the footsteps of the Nord CE 4 and climbed one step above to be the second most popular mobile in India. One of the most affordable offerings from the brand under Rs 15,000, the Moto G64 turns up the heat in the the sub-Rs 15,000 segment in India.

This Moto G series handset offers users a 120Hz, 6.5-inch FHD display and MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC. The performance is further improved by the near stock Android experience offered by Android 14-based My UX with an assured upgrade to Android 15. Other features include 50MP dual rear cameras, up to 12GB RAM, 6,000mAh battery, and 33W TurboPower fast charging support.

3. OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G

The F27 Pro+ 5G is the latest entrant in the popularity charts, and was launched just a few weeks ago in India. The smartphone managed to grab attention thanks to India’s first IP69 rating along with IP68 and IP66 as well as a 360-degree armour body design. The smartphone is designed to survive the Indian monsoon and dusty thunderstorm experienced by the subcontinent.

The highlighting features of the smartphone include a 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7050 processor, Android 14-based ColorOS 14, 64MP dual rear camera, and a beefy 5,000mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone starts at Rs 27,999 for the base 128GB variant and goes up to Rs 29,999 for the 256GB model.

4. vivo V30e

The vivo V30e was the most popular smartphone in May, however, in June it has slipped three spots down to the number 4 spot. The latest V series offering from the brand continues to be one of the most popular mobiles in India thanks to its competitive sub-Rs 30,000 price tag and impressive specifications.

The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The performance of the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which is accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone also offers Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, 50MP dual rear cameras, 50MP front camera, 5,500mAh, and 44W FlashCharge fast charging.

5. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro

One of the first launches of the year 2024, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro continues to be among the most popular smartphones. Xiaomi has captured the price-conscious market like India by combining flagship-features with a mid-range price. And with the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the brand also introduced the much-requested AMOLED display in the Note series.

6. OnePlus 11R

As surprising as it may seem, the OnePlus 11R replaced its successor, the OnePlus 12R in the list as the most expensive option. Notably, the OnePlus 12R has been a constant in the MSP Tech Insights Top Mobiles of the month since its launch in February earlier this year. While the device remains a strong contender despite being a year old, its resurgence can be credited to the recent launch of the Solar Red variant in India.

The highlighting features of the smartphone include a curved AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 50MP primary camera, and more. It comes with a 6.7-inch 1.5K display, Android 13-based Oxygen OS, and 5000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging.

7. vivo T3x

The vivo T3X launched in India as the most powerdul phone under Rs 15,000. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1-powered handset launched as the successor to the last year’s vivo T2x and is priced at Rs 13,499 for the base variant.

8. Realme GT 6T

The Realme GT 6T marks the return of the GT series in India and is a new performance-centric device from the brand. The newest entrant in the list is India’s first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. The Realme GT 6T retails for Rs 30,999 for the base variant in India.

9. Motorola Edge 50 Fusion

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is one of the newest launch in India. It’s a mid-range offering focusing on design and cameras. The new launch flaunts a 3D curved display, vegan leather finish rear panel, and IP68 rating. And starting at Rs 22,999, the smartphone offers a solid spec sheet as well.

10. Realme P1

Realme introduced a new P-series of smartphone under Rs 20,000 in India with the P1 being the base model. The smartphone flaunts an intricate design inspired by the mythical creature Phoenix. The handset’s claim to fame is the four-year fluency certification and IP54-rate durability. The Realme P1 is price at Rs 15,999 and Rs 18,999 for the 6GB and 8GB variants, respectively.

The device is powered by a Dimensity 7050 processor and comes with 8GB RAM as well as 8GB extended RAM for stellar multitasking. Other key features of the device are 50MP dual rear cameras, 16MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, and 45W SuperVOOC charging.
