The Realme GT 6 and Realme GT 6T come pre-loaded with Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14. The Realme GT 6 will receive four Android OS upgrades and four years of security patch updates, while the Realme GT 6T is eligible for four years of updates, including three Android version upgrades.
The Realme GT 6 offers AI features such as AI Night Vision, AI Smart Removal, and AI Smart Loop. It will also receive the Android 18 update. Android 17 will be the last platform upgrade for the Realme GT 6T. The Realme GT 6 has a better software experience and Android update trajectory.

Realme has kept the design, display, battery size, and charging capabilities the same across both the GT-series handsets. However, the company has equipped the Realme GT 6 with a faster processor and better (and versatile) camera setup. Realme has equipped the Realme GT 6 with several AI features and will provide an extra Android update.
If budget is not an issue, getting the Realme GT 6 is a better choice since it offers more. However, with Realme GT 6T, you won’t be missing out on much, except cameras and AI features.
