Samsung is reportedly gearing up to expand the Galaxy Book 4 series laptops. Today, we spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge in the Bluetooth SIG listing before its official launch.
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge Bluetooth SIG Listing
The Bluetooth SIG database reveals that the upcoming Samsung laptop will bear the NP940XMA model number and Galaxy Book 4 Edge marketing names. The database confirms that it will support the latest Bluetooth 5.4 protocol. The listing also adds that the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will run Windows 11 out of the box.
Our team at MySmartPrice also spotted the upcoming laptop on the Samsung UK support page with the NP940XMAA-EXP model number. The support page confirms that Samsung could soon announce the laptop in those regions. Apart from the details mentioned above, the Bluetooth SIG listing doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming Galaxy laptop.
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge: Expected Specifications
A report from Winfuture reveals that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Book 4 Edge in a 14-inch configuration. Samsung will also launch the laptop in a 16-inch variant, which will go official under the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro moniker. The upcoming Galaxy Book 4 Edge will be the first to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite SoC designed for laptops, announced in October 2023.
The chipset comes with up to 12 Oryon cores with up to 3.8GHz clock speeds and has an Adreno GPU rated at 4.6FLOPs. Samsung is tipped to equip the laptop with a Super AMOLED screen with 3K resolution and 400 nits of brightness.
The laptop could have two USB Type C 4.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and a USB Type-A port. The leaked marketing posters confirm that the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will sport a 61.8Wh battery with a claimed battery life of 22 hours. The Galaxy Book 4 Edge could support a 65W USB Type C fast charger.
