Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto (GTA) trilogy needs no introduction. Whether it’s Vice City, San Andreas, or GTA III, these games have been part of our childhood. Now, they have reached 30 million downloads on the Netflix gaming platform. Here’s everything you need to know about:

GTA Trilogy on Netflix

The remastered collection, which includes Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas, was added to Netflix’s mobile gaming catalogue in December 2023. Since then, the trilogy has seen a surge in popularity, with data from Appmagic showing that the individual games have achieved impressive download numbers.

San Andreas ranked first with 20.5 million downloads, followed by Vice City with 6.5 million and GTA III with 3.3 million. Interestingly, most of these downloads have come from iOS devices, with the US being the largest market, accounting for over 23% of each game’s player base.

Moreover, introducing these games on its platform seems to have proven quite beneficial for the streaming giant’s gaming efforts. In January 2024, it was reported that the trilogy’s launch had nearly tripled Netflix’s monthly mobile game downloads, with 18 million downloads of the three games combined.
