Playground Games has announced it will delist Forza Horizon 4 from digital stores in December. The popular open-world racing video game will be removed from Microsoft Store and Steam on December 15, 2024. The studio says the decision has been taken due to licensing and agreement issues with partners.
Forza Horizon 4 Delisting: Details
Delisting means Forza Horizon 4 and its additional content will be unavailable for purchase from December 15. The game’s DLC has already been removed from both the digital stores. Only Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions can be purchased until the deadline.
The good thing is Forza Horizon 4 will continue to be available for download and play for those who have already purchased it. The studio said online, offline, and multiplayer modes will work as intended. Those who have bought physical copies can also enjoy the game without hiccups.
Forza Horizon 4 players who got it through Xbox Game Pass and have purchased DLC content will receive a game token. Players should have an active and full-paid (not discounted) Xbox Game Pass subscription on June 25 to become eligible for the token. This token will allow them to download the full game and keep playing it even after the delisting.
