Bethesda has revealed that the Fallout 76 Skyline Valley update will be released on June 12. The update will be available worldwide for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players. It is packed with two major changes that should improve the gameplay experience. Here is what you need to know.
Fallout 76 Skyline Valley Update: What’s New?
The Fallout 76 Skyline Valley update will feature the game’s first major expansion of the world map. The team has introduced a new region, Shenandoah, inspired by the real-world Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, United States.
Shenandoah is situated on the southern side of the in-game Appalachia. It will give players plenty of exploration opportunities and new mysteries to solve. They will have to seek out the real location of Vault 63 and “investigate the cause of an electrical storm circling overhead and unveil the mystery.”
The Skyline Valley update will introduce a new Ghoul type called The Lost. These are referred to as electric ghoul, and they inhabit the Vault 63. Your goal will be to find out what is happening at the vault and what is causing the electrical storm.
Another major change coming with the Fallout 76 Skyline Valley update is Ghoul becoming a playable character. However, players will have to wait until early 2025 to enjoy that.
