Bandai Namco has released a big Elden Ring update just in time for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC launch. The much-awaited expansion pack to the base game is now available across all major platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The latest update also adds several features and changes to the base game, which improve the overall user gameplay experience.
Elden Ring v1.12 Update: What’s New?
The new Elden Ring update bumps the game’s version number to 1.12. The biggest change included is support for Shadow of the Erdtree. This makes it a must-install update for anyone interested in playing the Elden Ring DLC.
The team has added five new hairstyles to Elden Ring with the update. These can be used during the character creation using the Clouded Mirror Stand or Rennala’s Rebirth feature. Players can now carry over Active Summoning Pools to the New Game+. They can also enable or disable Individual Summoning Pools through the newly introduced Map Functions Menu.
The Inventory system has received some noteworthy changes. Newly obtained items will now have a “!” mark next to them. There is a new Recent Items tab, which will show the recently obtained items. The team has added support for the Arabic language.
The Elden Ring v1.12 update also brings PvP-exclusive changes. Damage for some weapon attacks has been adjusted (increased or decreased) based on the weapon chosen by the opponent.
