Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is officially confirmed to launch on October 25. The announcement was made at Black Ops 6 Direct, a keynote dedicated to the game right after Xbox Games Showcase. Here is everything you need to know about Activision’s next Call of Duty game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Campaign Details

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign mode will feature a spy action thriller set in the early 1990s. It will have a fictional story that occurs towards the end of the Cold War. A “shadowy force” is said to have infiltrated the U.S. government, and anyone who goes against it is branded a traitor. This means that players must go rogue as they progress in the campaign.

Multiple immersive spy missions will be spread throughout the globe amidst government conspiracies and times of distrust. The game will feature new and returning Black Ops characters, with veteran Frank Woods acting as a bridge. He will be seen living his life and adjusting to a new CIA role after getting injured by Raul Menendez. His protege Troy Marshall will also play a key role in the campaign.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombie Modes

Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature 16 new multiplayer maps from day one. These will include 12 Core 6v6 maps and four small-sized Strike maps. The multiplayer mode will help players learn new Call of Duty mechanics like Omnimovement, which allows players to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction.

Intelligent Movement will feature sprinting, mantling, and crouching assists to make complex manoeuvres easier. The game will also feature increased enemy hit zones, an incredible gear lineup, HUD optimizations, and the return of Theater Mode and Classic Prestige.

Round-Based Zombies mode also returns with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Players will be able to take on hordes of zombies once again. It is expected to receive two new maps on the launch day.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Pre-Order Details

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will release on October 25 across all major platforms. These include Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will also be available through Xbox Game Pass from day one.

The game will have a Standard, Cross-Gen Bundle and Vault Edition. The Cross-Gen bundle will include access to the game’s current and previous-gen console versions. However, it does not apply to the PS5 physical copy of the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Vault Edition is digital only. It will come bundled with the following benefits:
